I have the OtterBox - Defender Series Pro Hard Shell on the phone which is a very solid and trustworthy case. But even with this the backside glass has cracked after a average fall on the ground. There must have been a rock or something that contacted the glass around the camera lenses which is a solid piece with the entire back of the phone. The glass under the case is shattered. I have the case left on in the picture for the following reason.
